Description

The Institute of Marketing Management has vacancies for Corporate Consultants in Johannesburg and Durban who are experts in the fields of marketing and/or supply chain management.

The key purpose of the Corporate Consultant's role is to increase the number of associateships of Institute and sell short courses, bespoke corporate training, and postgraduate qualifications through building relationships, offering superior client service and product knowledge,

 

Skills required

• Display a history in successfully penetrating, networking and building relations with new corporate clients, and maintaining relationships with current corporate companies.
• Ability to generate new leads and convert these into opportunities and sales.
• Astute in delivering corporate presentations and liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge and understanding of a variety of industries and qualifications.
• Knowledge of relevant skills development legislations and compliance including the SAQA, NQF, SDA, SDLA, EEA and a thorough understanding of the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.

Code 8 drivers license and own reliable transport are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform a Key Account Management function.
• Meet and exceed all corporate sales targets for number of associateships, short courses and postgraduate qualifications.
• Prospecting for new business, penetrate and building relationships with key stakeholders.
• Network and maintain relationships with current corporate clients.
• Booking presentations (face-to-face or digital) with corporates.
• Marketing and selling all offerings, which include Corporate and Individual Associateship to the Institute, short courses, bespoke training, as well as postgraduate qualifications.
• Conduct market research and stay abreast of skills development legislation.
• Confirm client challenges, problems or skills development needs and propose value added solutions.
• Grow market share.
• Secure profitable and sustainable contracts.
• Partner with government departments, SETAs, SMMEs and NGOs.
• Respond to tenders when required.
• Conduct research on new and existing clients.
• Maintain and update client databases.
